Imagine someone convincing you to get in a van to go to “the prettiest beach in all of the Caribbean” then showing up and thinking “I’ve been to at least 10 prettier beaches than this in the Caribbean”.
That was our experience going to Magens Bay Beach on the north coast of St. Thomas, USVI.
It’s a decent beach, and we enjoyed swimming for the day, but it’s far far far from the prettiest beach. It’s a decent beach.
We also passed a ton of hurricane damage on the road crossing the island, but St. Thomas was definitely spared the worst of it.
We saw several jellyfish that had washed up on the beach.
When we arrived back at the port to get on the ship, we noticed a bunch of iguanas on the rocks.
Good day at a decent beach. Decent, I tell you.
