My wife & I took a week-long cruise out of Puerto Rico, stopping at a bunch of countries we’d never been to before.
The first one was Bassetterre, the capital of St. Kitts & Nevis. We didn’t do anything special, just walking around all day, which was fun, other than slamming my toe (wearing flip-flops) into a rock and bleeding a bunch from my foot. Anyway…
First, we passed through a giant shopping area, which is always of 0 interest to me. Within the city, we headed through a park and then wandered down some side streets.
After going in some circles, we came across this church with a really old graveyard, then some stadiums, and stopped for iced coffee on a hot day.
After some more aimless wandering on side streets, we wound up back in the main area and were disappointed with a ‘closed today’ sign on a vegan ice cream cart.
We wandered around with no real aim or purpose, but the city had a nice vibe to it. I’d definitely go back to see more of the island(s).
