We had a great time in Aruba. From the ship, we turned right and walked along the lagoon near some fancy hotel. Within 5 minute, we were already seeing pelicans diving for fish and tons of iguanas.
After browsing through a market, we got info on a public bus heading to ‘any beach’ and wound up at a great one!
We swam, watched pelicans, and had a great time.
We caught the local bus again, paying a total of $2.50 each for our round-trip ride, and did some more animal watching before getting back on the ship.
Oranjestad is super awesome. Great beaches. Great animals. Great times.
