Brazil is an amazing country, full of awesome people and great food. I have many memories here, but these are 3 special ones.
In Rio, I visited the 2 most famous spots: Christ Redeemer & Sugarloaf. They’re incredible.
Cristo Redentor has multiple ways to get up. I recommend this tram on Rua Cosme Velho. There are mats at the top for people to lay on to get a good picture of you in front of the statue. Weird, but OK!
On the way down, the tram driver was taking pictures. That’s a man who is excited about his job.
For food, I really liked Refeitório Organico. Lots of vegan options in traditional Brazilian food.
From here, I went to Copacabana beach and then the Museum of Tomorrow.
I also recommend Vegan Vegan in the Botafogo neighborhood. Plate of the day options and also desserts!
Famous, crowded, but still awesome is the Pão de Açúcar (Sugarloaf). Incredible views of the Cidade Maravilhosa (Marvelous City). Make sure to get a spot along the glass in the cable car for great views.
Lastly, an incredible memory is the first soccer (football) game I went to in Brazil at the famous Mineirão stadium. This is how you should cheer for sports, non-stop, for the whole game.
Brazil has so much to see and do. I’ve barely scratched the surface.
