Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia

I’ve been to Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik & Zadar, but the best place in Croatia is the Plitvice Lakes National Park. WOW!

We stayed in a small guesthouse nearby that was really nice, quiet, and had free breakfast. It was also along the bus route to the park, which was a key element.

This is unbelievably, truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Look at the color of the water and the absence of trash!

We did the Plitvica Trail, which is the 3rd longest of the 4. We saw and did a lot, and I can’t imagine completing the longest trail in time for the open-close hours. You’d be exhausted.
