Montenegro (along with Tibet & FYRo Macedonia) has one of the coolest flags.
I crossed in from Albania, had a really fun time at passport control (driving an uncommon car brand when they only had a drop-down menu in their computer meant we compromised and put Toyota as my car, since Scion is made by them) and had to prove that I had a spare tire + jack in my car. Welcome to Montenegro!
I linked up with a great road outside Podgorica, the capital, and was disappointed the sky was so gray that day, because the views would probably be great.
I was still eating snacks from Albania, but ‘snacks for meal’ was getting old, and I stopped at a roadside place advertising kebabs, thinking (correctly!) they’d have falafel.
Just passing through, but thanks for the ‘real food’ for a change, Montenegro.
